Default Two Suzie B's, a Sac and Mickey talk Tai...

Went magnet fishing for about five minutes. After catching a only a rusty hook it looked like storms were on the way. Packed up the magnet and could not resist a quickie in the tot lot by the lake. But the rain came so I headed to the truck, with beeper dragging the grass as I hustled for shelter. Got a good beep right in front of the truck and turned out to be the Sacajawea. The day was not a total loss. Later decided to take a quick stroll through the local park using the CleanSweep coil and the beeper set to maximum discrimination. Was hoping to find some silver and maybe pull out a couple quarters along the way. Right away found a couple Susan B. Anthony dollars in the same hole! Then went on a quarter rampage also finding some sort of Michigan token. Found an old butter knife with no visible markings on it. The area has been lived in for 150 years so I think I will electrolysize the knife. Right before leaving found the Disney pendant that was made in Taiwan. Don't know what the triangular serrated iron is...

Thanks for the verification. I thought it might be some sort of mower part.

Hey! Good hunt Diggler. I am curious about magnet fishing. What exactly is it and what kind of stuff do you find? Sounds fun...

Keep Swing'in

If you like finding the mower blades come to my house! LOL I keep finding them in places no scicle bar mower should be used. Looks like a great haul.

All that Magnet fishing is... I have a rare earth magnet, 2" diameter, 3/4" thick with hole in the middle like a dough-nut where I tied on a 100' of 200lb. nylon rope. Then I throw it out in the water and see what I bring up. I haven't done it much yet, but got two good lures and some rusted pliers in one pull off the edge of a dock where people kick things over. The magnet can hold up to 200lbs, more under water, but have not latched on to anything big yet. I plan on doing more magnet fishing soon and will keep you posted.
