Default National Geographic.....Diggers
Just a reminder.....National Geographic Channel is showing a show call Diggers at 10 and 10:30 tonight. The second show is about the beaches along Charleston, S.C. Next stop....New Jersey!

Might not be for the boys in Charleston, S.C.! I don't like the idea but It is what it is....can't stop them from filming. Brace yourself, Lot more is coming this year.

In the preview it looked like he was hunting an old yard with an A/T Pro, I hope he doesnt salt water beach hunt with that also.

might be interesting.. but i think this will cause a "md-rush" and cause more problems for our hobby. hopefully its really hacky and nobody watches

It might not cause a MD rush, I guess it all rest on how they portray detecting, if they only show the good stuff then we are screwed on the other hand if they show everything like Gold Rush, we might be alright. I for one do not want to try what the Gold Rush guys have done now, all 3 mines are barely breaking even and if they do make a few bucks by the end of the season it wont be much more than most of us making at our daily jobs working a lot less hours. I think Todd's crew are in the black now but even if they reach their goal it wont be more than a few grand per guy for a few months of hard work, not too impressive in my book. I hope they show the ton's of trash we find while detecting and how a good day might only mean one worthless but old coin.

haha true, I hope they hit the wet sand and let the viewers hear all the chatter so it turns them off of detecting.

Hopefully all the new beach hunters from watching these shows all buy AT Pros... then we have very little to worry about!
