Default Help to identify old uniform button, eagle, crown, anchor

The back is no longer - and it's very fragile. Found it in Savannah a few years ago, have never been able to identify.

Quite a similar one in Waterbury's fashion buttons: http://www.waterburybutton.com/cart/...dproduct=28505

I have this same button! I can't ID it either. Found it in Hampton,VA about ten years ago. I would love to know what it is.

That's funny - I found mine at least 3 years ago and haven't been able to pin it down exactly either. The closest I got was someone on e-bay selling one that he found, but he didn't know details about it either. And I think he found his on the west coast if I remember correctly!

looks very similar to the one in the link but it's definitely not the same. Going to research old Polish military buttons. I know for sure that it's not a fashion button from the 60's - mainly by where I found it and the condition. But i'm guessing a fashion button may have been inspired to replicate the design? thanks for everyone's thoughts.
