Default I need Mercury Dimes lol

No matter where I hunt, I can't find the little buggers lol

Anyone know of any good places? I've tried parks, fields, and anywhere in between and nada =/

I'm trying to get 5 by around October for a project I'm working on and I'm coming up empty

guess I'm just frustrated lol

I'll keep at it!

Oh, yeah? I'd like to find a Reale, like you did!

Those little buggers are hard to find around here.

All my mercs last year I found at houses...some built as late as 1970. seems like I dug more Mercs than silver Rosies.

Try digging the deep and faint targets that don't make any sense. What machine are you using?

Hunt the yards of older downtown houses. If you want old coins, go to where people congregated fifty or a hundred years ago, not where they are today.

Listen to my podcasts #8 and #20 at http://thetreasurecorner.com.

most older houses are undisturbed...silver mercury dime dropped 70 years ago...will still be in that same spot. (just deeper)

Living in Maryland I would think finding Mercs would be like finding wheats around here.

Default mercury dimes..(& others)

You will get a higher percentage of dime finds allong side-walks. They don't make much noise when they fall to the cement and almost always bounce into the grass. Pick a old area of town to have a better chance at silver.............ellobo

I found 11 at one old house, 2 at another old house. So Id say old houses which are most likely private property. I only found rosies at the parks so far.
