Default sore arms and trash

went out today for 7 hrs. hunted wet sand and dry sand the the 6" ss rtg monster scoop wore me out. the dry sand was wet from last nights rain and hard as a rock. had to use the monster scoop in dry sand.one day my df will pay off like my whites matrix m6 did i know it will ( i dig all targets). i still cant figure out why their are so many bullets on this beach(replenished).so heres my trash for the day and why my arms are so sore.

Yeah, it may be trash but you got out! Heck, I'd love to dig trash like that today..... but my sand is frozen now..... :-(

Good exercise day for sure.

Looks like you got a workout today! Those bullets don't look all that old. Some of the .50 cals I've found from a strafing range are completely encased. Does make you wonder where the sand came from if they were in it. Replenishing the beach w/ lead! You did your cleaning duty today, for sure.

YIKES, no wonder you're wore out, that's a lot of digging . Take three Advil, a hot shower, a nite-cap ( not necessarily in that order ) and hit the sack. Round two starts tomorrow.

Boy! You really went to work there...Maybe just glue that stuff to a board and sell it as modern art.
Good luck out there.

The bullets come from when Page Field was a WWII Army Air Corps training base. It looks like you are hunting where the new dredging just took place and they pumped the new sand from the Gulf. The Gulf was machine gunned to death with fighter training during the war. When they pump new sand up on the beaches along with it comes the bullets. Too bad we don't have a sunken Spanish Treasure ship on this coast..but we do have a couple of crashed WWII fighters....AT6's to be exact.

The sad part about it....we will be digging them for the next 5 years. Every time some sand moves, it will expose more bullets. It took us 5 years to dig the last batch out, then they were nice enough to give us a whole new batch to dig out. They do give a nice signal, don't they?
