The other possibly part of a door hinge, can't really tell from the photo..
Maybe pics of the back and the edge that is straight..
Also what type of area was it found?? Old house sir, etc....

I'm pretty sure it's just an ornamental hinge, though somebody suggested it could be part of a drawer pull.

I found these in the big front yard of an early-1800s era house in rural PA. Not to far from the side of the long driveway that leads down to the house.

I don't think that there are many people that don't find harmonica parts sooner or later lol, that other piece could be any kind of hardware maybe even a shutter dog . I like finding things that tell a little story as much as or more so than coins

Hey you're back. Long time no see. You will find lots of harmonica parts. If you're lucky you will find a whole harmonica. I did. Very fragile but still whole. What detector did you end up getting?

I finally ended up with an Ace 250 over the holidays. Still getting the hang of it, but having an incredible time.

Unfortunately here at work, my company's net security thinks your images are bad juju, so they won't open, but can I just say I read the blog entry... loved it. Free flowing, and I could completely visualize the dialogue... nice job
