hey there everyone, the name is Steve and i live in Baden in Southern Maryland. started detecting at about age 12, haven't been detecting much in the last 10 or so years due to illness in the family. but now I'm back in the game.the detectors i use are, now don't laugh, oh ok laugh if you want, they may be old but i have a lot of experience with them.don't have the first one any more but i still have numbers 2 3 4 and 5. #2 dtex mk5 #3 garret master hunter ads7 #4 whites pi 1000 #5 whites idx pro. I found this site from a post on the BCA forum, am also a blue crab catching maniac, as if you couldn't tell from my screen name,when you live in Southern MD it's almost a requirement. will try to get the rest of my profile together soon but thought i would say hi first. wish i had pics of my finds from years back but i usually sold them as quick as i found them.still have some of the nicer or more unusual pieces so i will try to get some pics up soon. this seems like a great forum and I'm glad to be here.hope to trade some good info with you folks. thanks for welcoming me aboard. Hi Steve, welcome from Colorado. Sounds like you have lots of MD experience so you will fit right in here at the Friendliest Forum on the planet. I am envious of you NE types because your history exceeds Colorado by a couple of hundred years.

Good to have ya, wish I could enjoy some of them crabs I bet they are the best.

Hello from NC. Used to live in So.MD, blue crabs there were way bigger than they are here. Unfortunately I can't eat them any more. Miss the good ole crab pickin dinners.
