Default Well, not a Lost My Stuff success story per se....

But I went to the beach for a couple hours today and recovered a key to a rental unit with the keyfob bearing the rental company's phone number. I called the Realtor and got directions to their office so I could return the key. I told the folks at the office all about LMS and told them to let their renters know about LMS and they said they would.

On a side note, the BP contractors are STILL dragging the beach down to about 4 inches deep and had apparently just hit this beach so it was the cleanest and quietest beach I have ever seen. I did manage to walk away with a dime a nickel and 2 pennies though.

Question REALLY now...NOTHING?

OK so, what makes a thread "reply-worthy"? 38 views of this thread and NO replies... On another forum I frequent there were 9 replies within hours of posting the same thing.

I'm just curious, what gets you interested enough to read AND reply to a thread

I would have replied sooner, but I just now saw your post! Good job returning the key. Makes you an ambassador for MDing.

Know just how you feel! For me, just read the thread 2 minutes ago! Good job and know the realtor folks were glad to get the key back! Congrats on a good deed!

Thanks man! They really didn't act too much like it, almost like "uh yeah, thanks... we were just gonna make another key though" type of feeling that I got from 'em. Got to tell 'em about LMS though...
