Button. Year guesstimate. NEED EXPERT

So I posted this button a while back but it has me curious now. It looks like it was two pieces that we're put together, judging by the line through the button and shank. Does this give a year guesstimate? It is most likely pewter. Just too me what you guys think. Thank you

That is a cast button ,the line is the mold seam.

1750-1812.
