I just could not sit here and watch Irons have all the fun, so I got out today! Thanks Mr. Irons for the local inspiration...

Hit up Local Beach for a few hours this evening.. Wore my full farmer john suit today and I was cozy for sure.

The best was gold #38, a scorpion ring that says "escor" :?: on it, 2.2 Grams of 10K.. It was pretty deep down, and had been there a while with a lot of tarnish on it..

The propeller is from an old lure I will get some info in a little bit..

All of it...

The blade is from a Pflueger Tandem Spinner, made from about 1898 through 1950ish...

Awesome man great job!
I ain't done until I can no longer break through the shore ice so we have another month yet!

Very nice ring. Congrats on having the Gety up to put on the farmer's. The propeller thing may be two beaver tail pull tabs during mating season. :?:I'm sure we have them in Fl. How else could you explain thousands of them on one beach. We not only have turtle nesting season on the east coast, we have pull tab nesting season. Go figure!

:dingding:I never seem to find tarnished gold. ;)

Thanks Irons!!

I hear ya man, and cheers to that!

These were taken on my last day of water hunting last season, although I don't think I'll be pushing that late this season...

Ring beach was closed that day....
