Default Motor Cream

This certainly isn't mind blowing, but it's one of my favorite finds. Found this container at a late 1800s house in Bryan, TX. Found out it's a can of Marinello Motor Cream. Like a sun screen back in the early 1900s. Popped it open and it still has cream in it!

Just imagine how happy you'll be when you find your first 3 Merry Widows tin.

Cool find, congrats.

I've found 3 of those, and it's good they were not full.....

What ever you do, don't touch that stuff!! It's probably lead based!

Good lord!! Open those with caution too!

I'm afraid to open the single one I dug a couple years ago.

I would guess that nobody bothered re-packaging the merry widow contents so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I think I found the bottom half of a merry widow can but can't prove it since the top escaped me.
