Took advantage of the warm weather that made a showing earlier this week and had to hit the lake. Water temp ~36 degrees and my waders did their job. Here's some pics of the goods from two four hour hunts. I need to find some info on the copper Zimmer tag. Zimmer makes prosthetics. This was fun but I know that I prefer hunting in water that isn't like a slushy. Also pulled 2.08 in clad. Thanks for looking.

I have NEVER had a 4 gold ring day even when FL was the gold fields of metal detecting. You are to be congratulated!!! See that Snowbirds...home is where the gold is

Wow, crazy conditions and crazy finds. 4 rings! I didn't think you found much when you made reference to the zimmer but not the 4 rings :D Then I scrolled

Once again thanks. I keep telling myself spring is coming, spring is coming. I know that this beach has more to offer. Seems to me that I located "the zone" when I started to find all the sinkers. What was interesting to me was seeing how the ice impacted the beach allowing the lake to pull the sand way out. The low water condition here also helped. Study your beaches. I do know that I can't expect every hunt to produce these results although it would be nice. That being said, you can't find stuff if you don't get out there.
