US Civil War Belt Plate

I dug my best find ever today (NE Kansas). A Civil War era belt plate! I about passed out when I pulled it out of the hole. It was a good, deep signal and I kept digging and digging to get it out. It was as deep as I could reach with my Lesche digger. I was sure it was going to be a big piece of junk metal.
