Well, after two years with my AT Pro I thought I should be improving my clad count by being a little more imaginative.
I've found some silver but sometimes you just want to get out and swing.
Hmmm where do people congregate and drop coins?
Of course, downtown!

Since the majority of my weekday hunting is at night due to other obligations during the day it seems like this would be a perfect combo.
Drove downtown at 10:30pm the other night and hunted one of the many green zones. Wow, quarter heaven! ( 33Q 12D 2N 26P)

Sorry for being so long winded, but you need the mood.

I dropped down to dig yet another quarter. Slice slice flip the plug another one in the poc.
Well, I had set my pinpointer aside while retrieving and it was still chatting.
Thought it was probably another zincoln but hey I'm down here anyway.

Surprise, a cute little ring! Assuming costume I tossed it in with the clad.
Got home about 1am and my wife was still up so I showed her my mini-booty.
She was interested and said there was writing in it.
I was surprised since I didn't think there was enough room for txt.
Sure enough!! With a loupe I was able to make out a tiny oval with what looked to be 925. NICE!!
Well, Italy was also easy to make out. But what is this TaCo, a designer??
Under a 35 mm slide magnifier I was able to see that the "a" in TaCo was actually a "&" symbol. Aha! Tiffany &Co.:D

Thanks for being so patient!

Btw my wife loaned me the ring so I could take pics ;)

Thanks all for the comments and views. Those 4 little symbols are the difference between a silver $35 knock-off and a $175 seen on the net.
Definitely beats its weight in gold lol.

sweet find. My buddy found one and told me he found a taco ring. LOL He later read it with magnification and saw T&CO
