I'm heading south tomorrow for the JGD #2 hunt near Culpepper Va. Running my CTX.
I loaded in a relic mode by Todd Yerks (CT TODD) out of A Sabisch's CTX book. Almost no discrimination in pattern 1 or 2. Runs combined audio, tones to my liking. Fast off, deep on. I understand that I'll be dealing with highly mineralized soil so I plan to run auto ground balance and auto sensitivity +3 to start. If my sensitivity gets too low I'll switch over to manual GB and try to get my sens up. If that doesn't get me deep enough I'll switch over to manual sens and tweek it up as much as I can stand.
Any of you more experienced hunters in this area have any other suggestions? I also intend to go very slow and tight to the ground.
