I agree now with most of the numbers that you got this time around except the half dollar. I get a solid 53-54 on a silver half. There must be an reason but I don't have an answer. Your soil is goofy !!! I'm running Park2, auto gnd. balance, 20 vol., 10 threshold level, target tone 5, acpt. / rej. -9, recovery speed 3. I turn on my machine, do an auto ground balance and noise cancel and start hunting. Works for me ???

53-54? I thought the target id on the nox only goes to 40.
I need to go out and clean out the area of every signal, maybe I am doing noise cancel and ground balance over a target. After i do that i am going to bury 4 half dollars, a walker, a franklin, a 90% kennedy and a clad kennedy. And a peace dollar, and bury them 5-6 inches.
I bet i dig up 100 nails.

I think i figured out my biggest issue, i have the sensitivity set too high for my soil, i set sensitivity down to 10, and walked around, slowly bringing it up. I found anywhere 17 and above, i get a lot of extra noise. At 15 or 16 targets are a lot clearer and visual id is not all over the place.

Yea i feel like i just clicked with this detector. Just did a pass of my front yard again and this is what i got. I feel like i can see in the ground now. Definitely the sensitivity was too high. I dug a bunch of trash to see what it was too, my id numbers stabilized and could confirm after digging up, lots of aluminium from siding in the 15-19 range, oh and silver #9 fty.

Please answer this.
Is the machine running stable? Clean and steady threshold?
Is it "chirping" or "talking" as you swing or are you experiencing a steady sweep over clean ground?
