It was only a short hunt today due to Rain in the Burg..but, I found a funny penny with Balboa's picture on it. I was hoping anything with Balboa, might be a Gold coin? Not. I didn't know how appriciative they are of him in PANAMA. I like finding foriegn coins. Also found a wheat, and a little clad.

I saw the posting BALBOA
I was thinking Rocky Balboa and Adrian and his trianer Mickey lol
Nice coin.

Un Centésimo (one cent, one centésimo, one penny, un centavo) coins were first issued in 1935, and continue through the present. The design consistently features a portrait of the Indian chief Urraca. ...Made of copper and zinc

Yours is a Urraca...the Indian or a penny, not a Balboa :)

Nice, here's the Silver 1947 Quarter Balboa 1/4 that I found :) This one is 90% Silver! Congrats on yours!!!

Wowe okay then

I sure do like that Silver Quarter..the only reason I thought it was the explorer Balboa, was the back reads "CENTESIMO DE BALBOA" So this guy is a native indian of PANAMA? Still cool.

I've mostly seen it described as 1 centesimo ... An awesome coin and find for sure!:D
