my first civil war relic hunt awesome

hello everyone,
today i finally got to start on a 40 acre feild that was civil war ground.
the guy who owns the property is a friend of mine so i can go there any time, and believe me i will be going back.
here are the pics of bullets and other things i found. hopefully someone can tell me what they are/came from.
the nail looking thing is interesting and i have no idea if it is a nail or not as it is pretty fat for a nail.
and then in the pic is a lead splatter???????
if anyone can tell me about everything in the pics as far as what kind of bullets they are that would be great too as i am totally new to this stuff.
i also found half a horse shoe can anyone tell me how i can find out if it is civil war??

Cool finds....congrats on your first CW relics!

Unfortunately I cannot help identify anything as far as specific bulltet types, etc.....I am hoping to do my first CW relic hunt myself n the next week or so.....got farms lined up, just need to find free time!

my 2 cent:

nail looking thing is a bolt. looks like bolt head under that corrosion.

flatten round is modern and size can be dettermined if measured,

I found my first Civil War relic by total accident. It was about a month ago in one of the local city parks. It was a .557 Enfield minie-bullet.

Chattanooga,TN has quite a bit of CW history!
