I was back at the 1918 hotel and i found a 1917 wheat. Right next to it i found this strange piece of metal. It’s a little bit smaller than a dime, and thicker than any coins i know of.(~1/4 inch thick). The rim has small holes through it. When i found it it was extremely dirty, and it took about a half hour of olive oil and steel wool to make it readable. There is a symbol that i can’t make out followed by “552”. Also for some reason the “5s” seem to each be a different font. Does anyone know what this might be? Thank you

Google, Antique lead baggage seal.
Stick

Thank you! You’re definitely right about that. I did some research to try and find out more and i read that the other side of the deal might have the city’s crest or other information, so I’ll try and clean that up. Thanks again
