Ok...the "we recommend buying a shovel handle" should have some fine print that's states "you're going to have to work it".

Cut off the taper.

Ash handle. $8.97 from Home Depot.

Had to sand the bugger down and then tap it home!

Need a stainless screw, for now I'm good. Need to make a trip to the big lake soon...

Happy hunting!

Those are size 13 shoes for scale

I rather my handle fit MY scoop, than one that is supposed to work on all scoops...

Looking good!

Thanks Ice. Appreciate the positive replies. We'll see how she holds up, won't get a ton of use really, so I'm optimistic. Emailed Whites inquiring about warranty today and will post that when I hear back. Just curious. This scoop seems quite solid.

I piss pounded my stealth 720 today on a clay bottom covered in rocks. she still looks like new. :D

Awesome man. Congrats!

I like this scoop.

I'm not so sure that's going to fit, but thanks anyway (Twss)

Looks like my t rex, should work in your freshwater lakes.:grin:Happy gold hunting!

Thanks Metal! Look forward to hearing info on the 5" rtg SS scoop and how you like it!
