Angel on Moon Token

My latest site is being very kind to me. Got my first silver quarter (1939-D)!

The interesting dig though was a crazy looking copper emblem/token? Seems like it might have had stones on it. Was so excited..... Should have looked.

Any help on this ID is appreciated...... Thx :grin:

Just a guess, but it looks like it is a lid to something, maybe off a woman's makeup case.

I've seen simliar designs on lockets...maybe fairy wings, don't look like angel wings to me but :shrug:

It appears that a fairy on a crescent moon is pretty popular. A Google search for that term produces a lot of items.
