Had some beautiful weather yesterday (73 degrees) so I figured I'd get out before the cold weather comes in and stays for a while. Was digging the usual trash until I got an iffy dime/quarter signal. Dug the plug and under a piece of glass was this 1940 merc! My oldest silver and 3rd this year!
