Bookmark?

50 degrees got me into the woods today and luckily, there was no frost in the ground at all!
I found this along with 14 wheaties and a merc.
Thin copper and it rang up like a wheatie.
I am guessing a broken bookmark, any thoughts?

I found a similar one in the wall of my 1860 farm house while doing a remodel job. It was fully intact and had a little cord/tassel on it......darned if I can find it now to send you a pic tho! :laughing:
