Most of us can' t afford to buy honey holes.
I inherited it from my dad..10 acres, 1/4 mile from Fort Warren (Rev. war fort) in Castleton Vermont.

i too find many buckles. I enjoy them too!
I assume they are all from horse harnesses. A full bridled horse with all the leather strapping would have many many buckles on them.

I had them checked out up at the Hubbardton battlefield,about 3 miles from my property,and the curator of the visitor center confirmed that they are certainly period buckles,late 18/19th century however without his guide he wasn't able to tell me much about them,besides the complete knee buckle which still has some of the string on it.
