Do a quick search for his production company and credits. FWIW, it has the ring of truth to my ear, and I've occasionally worked with small film and production companies.

So after you hit the big time and move to hollywood, are you still going to check in on the forum once in a while...like between films?

very amateur, there are two types of word press sites:
professional ones who have their own URL like www.timbearden.com
or the above which is a quickie word press site showing not much invested.
now the above may not even be the same tim bearden so that is not substantial proof of anything.
there is an actor named tim bearden on imdb.com but this guy may be using his name.
nothing on Small Time Big Shot Productions on imdb if it is a legit film company it would be listed in imdb.com.
my conclusion is you are wasting your time and he may be running a scam. Lots of those trying to use Hollywood as a basis for their scam.
Just my personal opinion based on my research. Been in the internet business since 1996 and have many of my own professional technical book review websites using wordpress. eg http://educatorsreviews.org
at the very least you need more provable verification of his film track record. eg some things on imdb.com attributed to him and not the actor tim bearden.

I would be very careful how much information you divulge at the meeting.....
(Also I would have someone with you to take notes, photo's?, and possibly even tape the interview...just my 2 cents.)

What could he hope to scam? He has nothing to gain but information on a cache that is said to have been found.
