I am making the most of my summer being ruined by the horrid construction up and down my street! I have been going out in the evenings and dirt fishin!! My two favorite finds so far - two wheat pennies (found below our old town school ) 1919 and 1917 (my oldest coins cuz I'm in WA state and town was founded in late 1800's) and last night I dug a vintage toy cannon! I think it is a Barclay circa 30's - 40's. I have been googling it all morning :)

Get some hat lights and hit it hard before they pave over it. HH

Nice toy howitzer, still in good shape, good luck in finding more good stuff while its uncovered

Those wheaties appear to be in good condition considering their dates. The ones I dig down here (early dates) are in pretty bad shape. 1800's town...should be lots of old coins, right?

Where there teens wheaties, there could be barbers showing up. I love old sidewalk tearouts. Thanx for sharing !
