Question on the Equinox

How is the Equinox on aluminum bottle caps. Are the numbers the same as a quarter?? I have a c z and its a very good detector but it puts bottle caps in with the bottle caps.
 
It puts aluminum twist caps very close to zinc Coln Penney range, maybe a tad higher, below copper penny range.
