Too bad the 1916 Merc wasnt a D, but its still in great shape.

Great finds! That '16 mercs appears to have been scorched in a fire. I dug a Morgan dollar that appeared the same way, had been in a fire 110 years ago.

Thanks, TommyJay! Any Merc found on a hunt makes me happy and 1916 could have gone either way - Merc or Barber!
