my brother mega told me about this forum so if i ask any really stupid questions you can blame him
but i do have one to ask, i have a idx pro and i heard about mr.bills mod. but my question is has anyone tried to make the mods. to your idx by yourself if so could you explain.. :!:

Welcome to the board IDX...

If I was you... I would send your IDX to Mr.Bill and let him do the Mod... It does not cost a lot of money and you can call him after 3pm most days and go from there.. He is a great guy, I purchased some things from him when I was in Cape Cod this past summer...

Hi idxwodd,

Haven't heard of anyone doing the mods themselves but sure some have. Mr Bill has it down to a science and knows what works and isn't telling. I can tell you the mods are worth every penny and greatly enhances the capabilities of this already fine detector.
