anyone want to place a value

I just found this medal/pendant with Admiral Geo Dewey on it. War hero and highest ranking person ever in the navy. Even to this day. Civil war. Spanish American war.
It is absolutely mint. So any one have an idea if its a valuable find or just a really cool find.

That is a cool find. I think it is pretty toasted as opposed to "mint". I did a quick search and could not find your particular medal but there are a bunch of other varieties out there.

Right I didn't mean it was in mint condition I just meant it still has all its details like in the loop and his name. And compared to any other copper/brass I find its in super good shape. Apparently its only worth 5bucks
