:( I have a sand shark that I like very much. I just bought a White dual field I have been wanting since I had a chance to use one in Fort Walton
Beach Fl. last winter. The issue is the sand shark I can change to tone as I am hard of hearing. The dual field almost sounds like a whistle to me. I like the low pitch I can adjust the sand shark to much better. It this a problem to others?

nope, when I had it didn't sound like that either.

Good Luck!

I certainly understand what you are saying. To a person with a hearing impairment, being able to adjust the signal pitch, or "frequency" is extremely important. Even to a person with perfect hearing, adusting the signal tone to what your ear hears the best is a huge plus, and can mean hearing faint signals you may have missed if the tone response was a smidge higher or lower.

I hope you get it worked out and get some Big Gold with your new DF!
