DIGGER27
In Memory Of
I'm in a funk.
Been finding stuff but nuthin great lately and I am tired of it.
A few wheaties used to thrill me but that ain't cutting it anymore.
What to do?
Why the one thing that has always worked in the past of course, load up some tunes and rock out...always an attitude changer and I don't mean I need more cowbell.
In this case I need that driving bass beat or at least a ton of low notes, couple that with some heavy drums and if that don't get your motor running I don't know what will.
I have tons of songs but I picked out just a few from my list to share in case any of you need a pick me up, too.
Sure most of them are old, I am an old guy, but I lived through the 60's and 70's when music was...music.
Enjoy, and use them if you need to.
Some Michigan boys...we always knew how to rock in that state...
Most Allman Brother's tunes can work...a driving bass AND double drum sets...
J Geils...one minute in it picks up...
Of course, Boston...
Gotta have some Bob Seger in a list like this, Michigan again...
What the heck, one more Seger song just because I like it.
In the old days from the beginning he had tons of ballads and slow songs too before the rest of the country finally noticed him but this is how those that we who grew up with him remember him best...
Starts out with a great growl...funny video too....
One more Michigan group the MC5...their live shows were incredible, one of the greatest bands that should have been but never was...
If someone is in a coma you play them this one...
Youngest of the bunch...
