True story: At my place of work they create a schedule for crewing machines using last names only. One day they had Forest Dick working with Karl Head.... No joke... But it WAS funny at the time!!

Another true story: My wife worked years ago as a lab tech at a hospital. One of her coworkers got an order to draw blood from a child. On her way to the child's room the coworker noticed the patient's first name printed on the order was very, very odd. When she entered the child's room the mother was there. Fearing that the name was a typo, but not wanting to offend the mother, the coworker casually mentioned that the child had a very 'unique' first name. The mother replied, "Oh yes! I read it on the bathroom wall and thought it was such a beautiful name!" What was that name? Urine... but the mother pronounced it Urene!
