...but know you can't (legally anyway).

Here's my top 5 list of sites I wish I could hunt, but will never be able to. This is my list for the US only, I haven't even thought about the rest of the world. This list could change of course with some serious thinking.

1) White House lawn (though I hear Nixon covered it pretty well  )
2) Gettysburg (might get some flack for this one, but hey, it would be cool)
3) Original Jamestown settlement
4) Central Park (New York)
5) Mount Vernon (home and gardens of our first president, George Washington)

Lake Compounce in Connecticut. It's been there for years and years.

Lincoln State Park in Indiana, around the old log cabin Lincoln grew up in.

Every place that they are replacing sidewalks or roads, but they put up that yellow tape to keep people out.

Certain parts of Coney Island that had been fenced off, like Playland.

Lake Compounce is actually the oldest amusment park in the US. I bet that would be a great place to detect.

This is one that comes to mind, assuming that there's anything left to find.

The california missions.

Anywhere around the egyptian pyramids.

Anywhere around the pyramids in mexico, or south america.

The ruins of old caprica.

I would love to have exclusive rights to hunt Isle Royale national park in Lake Superior. Back in the late 1800's,early 1900's it was one of the premiere well to do resorts in the northern states. Now its all just wilderness.

I'm with OkieDigger on Gettysburg! What a place to look!
I would also like to hit New York's Central Park, Under the upside down roller coaster at any theme park in America, Normany Beaches, and Central America in Aztec country.
That would tie me down for a while.
I must be off! :tumble:

Graceland, Ole Greedy Vernon Presley buried some caches on the estate. And one other, the infield of either Indianapolis motor speedway or Talledaga Motor speedway

I've often thought of all the Spanish treasure lying on the bottom of the deep

My list of places:

1. Rocky Point Amusement Park here in RI (We tried, but lawyers for the SBA shot us down).
2. Gettysburg
3. The Alamo
4. Under the pavment along Boston's Freedom Trail.
5. Along a wreck site of a sunken Spanish treasure galleon off the Florida keys.
6. Out west, at any of the rumored cache sites from the famous outlaws like Jesse James or Billy The Kid

That's about it.

Not in any order of priority-
1. Fort Pitt
2. Boonesboro,Ky
3. Cumberland Gap
