Yes, one could say that I am a "die-hard".  My detecting buddies and I just purchased "LED" lights and we used them for the first time last night.  We decided to hit a local dike that has been producing old coins.  The time was 10:45!  At the end of this adventure, I had found 2 Wheaties, a 1917 car token, a 1917 Canadian large cent, and "new coins." It was such a blast! We are going to do it again sometime! Oh, we stopped detecting at 1:00 a.m.. Can anyone else say "die-hard?" HH, Keith!

Excellent! So did you have the lighted hats, Keith, or the slippers?

:D

Very cool Keith, some good finds there too. I've been meaning to try a night hunt on land, done a few in the water and really enjoyed them.

Nice job Keith.
I've been thinking about doing some night detecting, but haven't tried it yet. My XLT is backlit, so that would make it easy.

Never did a night hunt. It might be kinda fun, so I will probably give it a try sometime this year. BTW, good job on the finds you made.

Detecting at night - man, that's dedication!

Nice large cent, Keith. It sure sounds like you guys had fun!
