Up and down weekend. Went to a club hunt Sat, 6 hour hunt and 50 cents in clad. Today I ventured back to the pond in the woods (now dubbed Silver Pond) and trekked down through the thickets.
Right away I got a screaming 88 on the ATP, thought I dug a can top until I wiped away the mud....Silver Plated? Pocket Watch with cool etching...I was blown away! Things leveled out after that, dug some pulltabs. Lincolns and fishing weights. Hit a mid tone and dug a toasted IH and Buffalo a few feet apart. Hit a 1943-S Merc along a stream feeding the pond. Jumped to an area across the stream and found 3 Wheaties and a 1943 Silver Washington in a 20 foot radius. Got the old car and pocket knife on the way out. Really cool hunt...I'm exhausted. HH!
