:okpeople: Alrighty everyone! :okpeople:
Since I have yet to dig some silver, I thought it would be cool to start a thread for everyone to post pics and/or stories of some of your silver, especially coins, but rings, spoons, buckles, etc. are more then welcome as well. :D So... post away! :detector::research::photo:

This is my stash of metal detected silver as of about a month ago. I've added a few more things since then, but nothing major. These are my silver finds from May 2017 (when I found my first silver) to about the end of August 2018. 40-ish coins, about 10 rings, and a few other miscellaneous bits of jewelry.

Here's some silver from the past year. This is my first silver spoon and I found it last week in a playground. Couldn't find the other half but silver is silver. The coins are 50% silver, and are each an Australian threepence, sixpence, shilling and florin. The two chains were also found in playgrounds.

My all time favorite piece of silver would have to be a Navajo handmade silver & turquoise Naja from a Squash blossom necklace. Found during the construction of our new water park. The area happened to have been the camping spot for many years of travelers on the Santa Fe Trail.

This is by far the one find that I will never forget.
My first and only seated quarter.

Found this a few weeks ago at a old school I like to hunt. Silver pocket watch cover from the mid to late 1800s I believe...

I have found my share of silver coins, this one was a total shock.

user10659_pic68279_1443447165.jpg

Other silver too, this one is a silver Masonic coin, they pop up all over the place on the forums but I have not seen another hunter post about one they found in sterling silver.
Copper, brass, aluminum but most quit supplying these to their members in sterling way back in the 30's to early 40's.

user10659_pic68493_1445349100.jpg

Tons of jewelry in silver, chains, earrings, medallions and many, many rings.
This ring is one of my most favorite.

photostudio_1537988915159.jpg

These three jewelry pieces were very important to me because I learned something on every one.

On this tiny one I learned even silver can come in way lower than most people think...even into iron like this one did.

user10659_pic72309_1473947268 (3).jpg

Here is a much bigger one, the thickest I have dug so far.
A dead on extinction zincoln signal and I mean exact.
Made me think twice about passing by every zinc cent signal assuming they were all going to be zinc.

user10659_pic73831_1485267855.jpg

This big silver bracelet was in the dirt opened and was a high zinc signal.
Out if the ground and closed up it changed to a solid quarter signal.
That taught me about scanning open, broken rings and other targets that are supposed to be complete circles but aren't and how that can change things.
