40 acres of land that was owned by a family that never trusted banks. It's known that the father buried jars of coins (only one was recovered), and that they were hoarders.


it's 5 hours north of me...40 acres of wooded land. Unfortunately it's in the midst of a dispute over who inherits the property, and one of the people who thinks he owns it is a nut case....so it may be awhile until that's settled, and they'll likely want a cut of whatever is found....not sure how to handle that, or if it's even worth the trouble if they're going to want a large part of the finds....it's a long drive, and a LOT of property to cover...
 
That sounds like a lot of fun. IMO- Cover your expenses plus finders fee- but it is family money on family land so they are entitled to it. HH
