1368 find (PLZ HELP ID IT)

HI all just wanted some help 2 id my find.
it is a stone shape and has 1368 carved on the front
and with a big circle bit of gold looking metal inside
plz help for i dont know what it is thanks click here fore more

That's just really bazarre!!........I wouldn't crack it open just yet...........That's one of the most interesting pieces I think I've ever seen on here........Do keep us updated on what you find out about it.

Touch it with a heated pin and sniff...does it smell like tree resing or does it stink like plastic or epoxy? Also it looks like the object is not centered and there is at parts only relatively thin coat of whatever resin. So it should be possible to polish the item to get a clearer look to the object inside without cracking it open.

I have cleaned it up
and the gold looking object inside
looks burnt and a bit battered
like its a old momentem of something
(maybe a bit of an old ship)

Could be a paper weight, but I'ld still be wondering....why the #'s on it, and why did he find it so deep?

I wouldn't break it open until you know what it is, it might be
more valuable unbroken. Have you googled 1368 and tried to see
any connection between that number and your location?

That is by far the strangest find I've ever seen. Maybe the 1368 is short for Jan 3, 1968 and it has some kind of birth memento encapseled inside?
