I bought a 5.75 Tesoro Wide scan coil, tried it out in a stream that had a lot of false signals with conventional concentrics..I guess the problem is a magnetic sand..Anyway , the wide scan worked very well. Did not find anything other than what I threw in..BUT, there are copper artifacts in many Midwest streams...Any ideas on how to make a water proof case for a Cibola to go wading? I think the major problem will be the seal where the cord will have to come into the case..Cordially Nad
