In that condition you have some bucks on your hands. I would get that in a holder and not touch it anymore.

They were heavily circulated because of WW1 and most have no dates.
 
Any mint mark ? If it's a 1918/7 S would be worth plenty. Still a nice find.
 
What a great Find! Looks like you were in some nails right down to the hardpack! I think I know the place! Congratulations T2!

I know the place also Mud. NO coin comes out of an inland lake that nice, only the big ones. So he was on lake Michigan.

Think I will come over this weekend and plunder all your spots! Can't be that many on such a small lake :laughing:
 
I thought for sure it would be slumped in there with all the sand they are piling in. Great job!
