a friend and myself went hunting today, 45 degrees, no one swimming, no bikinis on the beach. I got 1.96 and he got 2.00 American clad with l 1955 wheaty. By noon it was 55 degrees or so. still no bikinis, but at least it wasn't snow.

Looks like the beachsweeper had been there beforehand. I see your low tide was around 11:30am. Were you able to venture out?

a little too cold for me. I didn't check the tide tables so I didn't take my seahunter or my waders. I put a wet suit on last month and GreenPeace came along trying to keep the Japanese whalers away  Water temp is about 65 now and my bones can't take it. I don't know if they have a beach sweeper at this place, maybe just a rake.
