My First Civil War Relic

Found at an excavated park. Dug this today then had to leave cause ground was too frozen. This was only 2 inches down. Can't wait till it's thawed enough to go back there.
A fancy boot heel plate.

Good find! i found a matched set a couple of years ago. There should be a size on it someplace. My 2 were size 2.
