Default Win a Multi-Cam Digger Supply Treasure Pouch - Short Suspense

Hi All,

I recently ordered a Digger Supply Pack Mule Treasure Pouch in multi-cam from Colonial Metal Detectors. Here is the pouch, also in the attached picture it's the one on the left: http://www.colonialmetaldetectors.co...e-pouches.html

I purchased it based off of a video Rattlehead did review it. Upon getting mine, first time out I realized that it was missing a pocket behind the zipper pocket as Rattlehead's had. Upon reaching out to Colonial, it turns out that it was left over from an older stock, and had been slightly redesigned. Since I purchased it based on the video, Digger Supply offered to send me one for free with the extra pocket. Well, I'm going to pay it forward and give away the first one they sent me.

Here are the rules:

1. This will be a giveaway where the to enter, you have to win a best finds contest. You can submit one best find photo for your best find that you dig this weekend, either 22 or 23 September. So one entry each day, maximum of two entries. This is the honor system, please only submit a find each day if you dug it that day. Sorry if you can't make it out this weekend. Please keep the entry to one posting, if you submit one on Saturday and want to submit one on Sunday, just edit your Saturday posting to add the second find photo.

2. On Monday, I will have my 17-year-old daughter go through all the finds, and she will pick whichever one she thinks is the best out of all the entries. She doesn't know a standing liberty quarter from a regular quarter, so who knows what she'll pick.

3. I'll announce the winner Monday NLT 20:00 EST. I'll get the winner's shipping info and ship it out on Tuesday, 23 SEP.

Have fun, and let me know if you have any questions, comments, etc.

Cool contest! Should be fun. I'll have to go detecting this weekend, and see what I can dig up.

I found the perfect belt for it to, by one of my favorite gear companies. CONDOR Tactical Belt (Multicam, Up to 44-Inch Waist) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005E0YJN0..._UaaPBbNTN4XA1

Good luck! With my daughter judging, who knows what she’ll choose. She loves finds though, I always catch her at my metal Detecting station in the basement picking through everything.

Great contest....hopefully I'll be able to get out Saturday or Sunday. tomorrow I'm planning on taking my first stab at my 1846 permission, assuming my shed is built in time...maybe I'll get back out there Saturday (or the shed will take too long to build and I'll "have" to go on Saturday )

Thanks

Thanks! One of my favorite parts of the monthly club meeting was looking over the finds of the month board (OBN always won the beach/water category).

I might look into contacting a whole bunch of dealers and manufacturers and see if they would be interested in sponsoring a weekly best finds contest. The giveaways don't have to even be high value/big ticket items, just enough to be an incentive. I love looking at finds, even when they aren't mine, would be something to look forward to each week.

Hmmm, a 17 year old girl judge. Can I submit a picture of my 20 year old grandson??? If only he had a plate in his head instead of in hands... maybe then?

I'll be the first to submit my Saturday find. Got up early and hit the local park tot lot. (Thanks for getting me out of bed so early) Soccer games and canning salsa all afternoon will keep me off the hunt the rest of the day. Behold!! This small bit of playground bling!! No markings on it anywhere. Thanks for the contest.

My 17 year old daughter is a factory freak (factory being her momma, the baby factory that made her). Since she could talk, she has said she wants to be a brain surgeon. The boys have been circling like chicken hawks, and she'd rather dig into her library of med books. Her mom is secretly heart broken that she's not into doing all the girl stuff with her.

My son, on the other hand, said he wants to be a bus driver and play video games for a living. 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

Side note: Nice find Stiffwrists, you're in the lead!

Default Saturday Entry

Saturday:
Went to a School with ChrisCo this morning
got a solid 17 about two and a half inches down.

Pulled a Ring with 3 Diamonds on it.

hit in the high gold range for me so I though possible white gold.
Chris saw it at a 67 in his gold range too.

Was really excited about it as it looked like the real deal.

Showed my wife when I got home and she was more excited than I was
Well put a loop on it and it said .925 but had also had a CZ
did a diamond test anyways and it failed .. so I got a Silver ring with about 2 carets of Cubic Zirconia..

Either way it is a VERY nice ring and my Wife said she will definitely wear it.. that's a first from her of 23 rings I have found this year.

Thanks for the cool contest Chris !!

Hopefully more to come tomorrow..

Sunday:
Hit a local park today found an Area sort of out of the way.. was littered with Beer Caps so I knew it got some use.
Found this around 4" deep.. this thing is huge and heavy a little bit bigger than a Kennedy Half.
Tumbled it clean and it is a really cool Narcotics Anonymous Coin.

Went out on Saturday for a hunt at a few playgrounds and a park, and found this silver hoop earring and about $18. Went for a quick swing today too, but didn't getting anything too great apart from $2.15 and a few sinkers. Here's the silver earring I found on Saturday. It's the largest hoop earring I've found so far. I didn't find the merc, it's only for a size comparison
