Default Guess and win a Merc;Contest ends on December 31 at 7PM CST

Today I was detecting in an old park in Milwaukee,
It was a rather lackluster hunt until I found this little Greenie at about 7" deep
Once I slowed down, I found a wheatie, a Jack and an injun in the next hole(#57 FTY)

If you can guess what this is, I will send you a Mercury dime.
You are guessing the single item on top of the plug.
I know it's a horrible picture, but what the heck, it's a free contest.

Ond guess per person please.
Contest ends on December 31 at 7PM CST.

I will give some hints along the way because you will need them.

Good Luck!

Are we allowed to go back and revise our guess after you've given a hint or two?

Good question. I'll save my guess for after the hints.

It's called a Jack!! Used to play with them when I was a kid --you'd throw a rubber ball up and see how many jacks you could get while the ball was in the air!

I will amend the rules to allow one additional guess per person. However that guess will have to be made on New Year's Eve

Hint #1 it is not a marble, and it was in the hole by itself
