I found this in the woods today. Massive signal, but clearly not iron. I had to dig out of curiosity, but I did not expect this to come out of the ground! I had a good chuckle. You never know what you're going to find.

That Lesche looks pretty modern to me. The synthetic handle should be a dead give away.

I think it might be an old zinc state part. They were painted to look like bronze but they are lower cost and more brittle.
