massive brass bolt

Hello,
this massive brass bolt has some patina on it and perhaps also an iron nut .
I have no reference about brass bolts ,
but I think they are not easy to be found ...
One 1962 2 cent coin and the other two are not romans :lol:

They are rotten german Pfennig coins with iron core :roll:

We have the same problem with iron cored coins now - they rust away!

Interesting finds , not sure why anyone would put a iron nut on a brass bolt ,unless it was a quick fix . COngrats , HH

it might be a toilet bolt to mount the bowl to the flange

your idea is right in my opinion. The rectangular part made me think it was
something for using in wood.

the rectangular part keeps it from spinning in the closet flange when the toilet is being tightened.
