I gained access to a 1800 era property that turned out to be a great property. I have hunted it the past 2 days and it has produced some nice finds for a newbie. I managed to turn up 8 wheaties, 13 copper pennies, 10 zincs, 3 modern dimes, a clad quarter, 2 modern nickels, a 1902 Indian head penny and a buffalo nickel. I also came up with some kind of a pendant that I'm not sure about.

Congrats on the IH and Buff....along with the clad. ....what's date on the top dime in the picture? . ..has the silver look....or it's just a recent drop

Good job. IH and a buff make that a real sucess. Pendant has a Thunderbird. Maybe some kind of crest? Native American :wow:? :?:

The most important factor is, and always has been, LOCATION. Continue finding these types of locations and you will continue your success. If you've found those coins there, chances are VERY high there is silver there,it's just a numbers game.
Great job,keep working at it!

Thanks guys. I'm really starting to enjoy this hobby and I can't wait to get back out there and find some more coins.
