Friday the 7th my brother and I got out for an afternoon hunt. We went to an old field church and school site and only got one IHP. Decided after that to hit a house in town that I had permission at. House was built in 1927. After an hour I had only found a 1920 Wheat and a 1964 nickel. AND THEN THIS!

1838 Half Dollar!
50 years older than my previous oldest silver and 26 years older than my oldest find ever.
Nebraska wasn't a state until 1867 so not sure how it got here. What a day!
