Got about 50 hours behind the ctx now and I am starting to get the hang of it. This is my haul from weds morning at a site in the wood that i found on an old map. After hours of researching i was was able to drop a couple of waypoints onto my ctx and away i went. The woods were thick and scruffy but i found a little clearing. I found what seamed to be a cement path and started there. I was pulling 2 to 3 nails per hole but targets were there too. In the begining i thought it was falsing because i would dig and just find nails and cover the hole back up. But i slowed down and started using the detector to make sure the holes were clear and there was a target down there almost everytime. Ussually below the nails. Forgot my phone at home so no in field pics but i will be back tomorrow. Hope you enjoy. ALSO THE DIMES ARE MY 1ST AND SECOND SILVER WITH THE CTX AND THE JEWLERY SEEMS TO BE GOLD BUT I CANT TELL FOR SURE.

Great finds! That jewelry is most likely plated, not solid gold. Either way congrats! I just got my ctx too and have been having a blast with it! Happy hunting!

It is plated. Did they plate over silver. I scratched it and it silver in color and non magnetic.

They most certainly did, I found a beautiful ring once gold in color, stamped 925. I would have it tested, the fact that it's not sticking to a magnet is a good thing!
